The PCBA for Digital Thermometer is designed as the precision measurement and processing core for medical and consumer temperature monitoring devices. It integrates a high-accuracy analog front-end with a 16-bit or 24-bit ADC to capture minute resistance changes from thermistor or thermocouple sensors. The board features an ultra-low-power microcontroller that samples temperature data, performs linearization and calibration algorithms, and drives a clear LCD or LED display. A buzzer driver provides audible feedback when measurement is complete. The design supports multiple temperature scales (°C/°F) and includes memory storage for last reading recall. Engineered for battery-powered operation, the board consumes minimal current in active mode and enters deep sleep between measurements to extend battery life. Each unit undergoes In-Circuit Test (ICT) and Functional Test (FCT) in temperature-controlled chambers, where readings are validated against NIST-traceable reference sensors across the full measurement range (typically 32°C to 42°C for medical use). Individual calibration coefficients are programmed and verified for every board.

We utilize high-precision SMT lines with Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) to guarantee accurate placement of sensitive analog components. Low-power operation and display functionality are verified through automated optical testing. Sample units undergo accelerated life testing and thermal cycling to validate long-term stability and drift performance.

Our established supply chain supports consistent lead times of 4-5 weeks.
