The Air Handling Unit (AHU) is a central air conditioning station that conditions the air entering the hatchery building through ventilation ducts connected to the AHU. Air conditioned by the AHU is distributed to the rooms of the hatchery where it is hygroscopic and IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) treated.

Featuring a modular design with separate fans, filters, cooling, heating and heat recovery modules, the air handling unit can treat incoming air from the outside by filtering, cooling and/or heating, humidifying and/or dehumidifying. The unit contains a frequency modulated high pressure centrifugal fan, quick release filter and electronic switch box with Siemens Synco 700 setter for controlling temperature, humidity and pressure according to a range of heating and cooling options.

The units are easy to maintain, have low operating noise, and can be installed side by side or stacked to minimize the space occupied.
