PCBA circuit boards are essential for SMT surface mount processing, and they are actually one of the electronic components (passive components). The use of PCBA circuit boards needs to be completed within the shelf life, especially for opened PCBA circuit boards, and baking treatment is required before the production of PCBA circuit boards. If the PCBA circuit board is used beyond its shelf life, the following problems may occur.
1. If the PCBA circuit board is used under warranty, there is a risk of welding explosion. When stored in the warehouse, the PCBA circuit board will absorb moisture, remaining on the surface of the PCBA circuit board, and even penetrating into the inner layer. After moisture absorption, the board will become brittle. When reflow soldering is carried out at high temperature, it will burst or crack.
2. PCBA circuit board may experience layering due to over warranty use
If the PCBA circuit board is stored for too long and expires, the composition of the PCBA circuit board is multi-layer lamination. If it is stored for too long and expires, the adhesive will harden (dry), which will cause separation between the board layers.
3. Overprotection of PCBA circuit boards may affect the reliability and stability of subsequent product use. Overprotection of PCBA circuit boards can cause oxidation of surface solder pads, which can easily lead to the dropping and failure of SMT components.
