The IPC standards for PCB design, production, and assembly are relevant at every stage to achieve high-quality products and maintain a competitive spirit throughout the entire production process. In every stage of PCB design and production, these are interrelated and implemented one after another to achieve the desired output product.
These standards apply to three electronic products related to printed circuit boards.
Type 1: General PCB related electronic products. This type of product belongs to daily use and is mainly used to complete the functions of the assembly.
Type 2: Service electronic products (dedicated). It refers to the high performance, high reliability, and long lifespan of a product. For end-use environments that will not cause any damage, uninterrupted service is preferred.
Type 3: High performance electronic products. Refers to sustained performance and on-demand performance. Due to the lack of shutdown equipment, it should work when needed. The final usage environment may be harsh, and such related products are used as life support systems.
The IPC standard for welding is necessary in the manufacturing process of PCB and PCB products. In the global industry, the IPC standard IPC-J-STD-001G is used for welding materials and processing. The training and certification program of IPC-J-STD-001 is applicable to the welding of electrical and electronic components in the manufacturing process.
In PCB design, it is also necessary to check whether the components are correctly installed on the surface. Otherwise, designing and using specific components may require additional costs.
The products assembled by BQC basically comply with IPC standards.
