1、 Why electrostatic protection?
In the process of PCBA processing, many components are sensitive to voltage, and the impact higher than rated voltage will damage these components.
2、 Harm of static electricity
1. Sudden damage, which can be found in the process of production quality inspection.
2. Potential damage generally refers to that the basic function of components still exists, but the service life is sharply reduced.
3、 Precautions for electrostatic protection
1. The operator of PCBA processing must wear electrostatic work clothes. It is forbidden to attach or wear any metal products on the work clothes. It is not allowed to take off the work clothes at the site where the electrostatic sensitive products are operated. All buttons of the work clothes must be buttoned up to prevent them from being undressed as far as possible.
2. Wear anti-static wrist, wrist strap and skin good contact and reliable grounding.
3. It is not allowed to stack plastic boxes, rubber, paperboard and glass on the electrostatic safety workbench.
4. All components must be operated on the electrostatic safety bench.
5. The electrostatic sensitive components falling on the floor during PCBA processing must be tested and confirmed again before use.
5. When handling sensitive components, avoid touching their leads and terminals.
6. When entering the workshop, you must wear an anti-static cap to prevent the hair from contacting the static sensitive components inadvertently.
7. During manual welding, anti-static low-voltage constant temperature electric soldering iron shall be used, and it is forbidden to reuse packaging tube to package components.
