When applying the three-layer anti-varnish coating on the PCBA circuit board, some parts of the PCB board cannot be coated, and many matters need to be noted.
1. Matters needing attention when applying anti-varnish
1. The surface of the PCB must be free of paint flow, dripping, and semi-wetting.
2. The three anti-paint layer should be flat, bright, uniform in thickness, and protect the surface of the pad, pasted component or conductor.
3. There should be no orange peel, bubbles, pinholes, or ripples on the surface of the paint layer.
4. There is no need to apply three-proof paint on the devices or components that do not need protection.
5. The printed board after the three protections should be clean and tidy, without any damage to the components.
6. There are no dirt, handprints, ripples, shrinkage holes, dust and other defects and foreign objects on the board surface and components, and there is no powdering or peeling.
Second, the list of components that cannot be coated with three anti-paints
1. High-power radiating surface or radiator components, power resistors, power diodes, cement resistors.
2. Dip switch, adjustable resistance, buzzer, battery holder, insurance holder (tube), IC holder, light touch switch.
3. All types of sockets, pin headers, wiring terminals and DB heads.
4. Plug-in or stick-on LEDs and digital tubes.
5. Other parts and devices that are not allowed to use insulating paint as specified in the drawings.
6. The screw holes of the PCBA board cannot be painted with three anti-paints.
Moisture has always been the most common and destructive main factor of PCBA boards, and the three-proof paint can well protect PCBA boards from moisture.
