PCBA testing is the most critical quality control link in the entire PCBA production process. Any manufacturer needs to strictly follow the PCBA testing standards and test the circuit board test points according to the customer's test plan (Test Plan).
The PCBA test also includes 5 main forms: ICT test, FCT test, aging test, fatigue test, and test under harsh environment.
ICT (In Circuit Test) test mainly includes circuit on and off, voltage and current values and fluctuation curve, amplitude, noise and so on.
FCT (Functional Circuit Test) test requires IC program firing, simulation test of the function of the entire PCBA board, finds problems in hardware and software, and is equipped with necessary production jigs and test racks.
The PCBA burn-in test (Burn In Test) is mainly to power on the PCBA board and electronic products for a long time, keep it working and observe whether there are any failures, and the electronic products after the burn-in test can only be sold in batches.
Fatigue testing is mainly to sample the PCBA board, and perform high-frequency, long-term operation of the function to observe whether there is a failure, such as continuously clicking the mouse for 100,000 times or turning on and off the LED lamp 10,000 times, to test the probability of failure. Feedback the working performance of PCBA board in electronic products.
The test under severe conditions is mainly to expose the PCBA board to the extreme values of temperature, humidity, drop, water splash, and vibration to obtain the test results of random samples, so as to infer the reliability of the entire batch of PCBA board products.
