Recently, BQC held a specialized training session focused on SST (Solid-State Transformer) PCBA manufacturing standards, aiming to align cross-functional teams with the unique process requirements of high-end power electronics applications.

During the training, our senior process engineer walked through the complete SST PCBA workflow, from thick copper PCB capability validation and SMT assembly, to selective wave soldering, water-based cleaning, ion contamination testing, conformal coating, and final functional testing. The team also reviewed the challenges of soldering high-thickness copper boards and validated our selective wave soldering solution to ensure consistent through-hole quality meeting IPC standards.
The session concluded with cross-departmental alignment on process specifications, testing checkpoints, and quality control protocols. This training reinforces BQC's readiness to support global power electronics clients with reliable, high-performance PCBA solutions tailored to SST and other high-reliability applications.
