After calculation, when the cost of energy storage system is 1.5 million yuan / MWh, the battery cycle life is 6000 times and the benchmark price is 0.49 yuan, the internal rate of return is only 3%, which is not economical.
With the further reduction of the cost of energy storage system and the improvement of cycle life, IRR will increase significantly.
