According to the different types of fluxes used in printed circuit components, the water cleaning process can be divided into saponified water cleaning and clean water cleaning.
(1) Saponified water cleaning process. For printed circuit assemblies soldered with rosin flux, a saponification cleaning process should be used. This is because the main component of rosin, rosin acid, is insoluble in water, and water must be used as a solvent. , can remove the rosin fatty acid, and finally wash with clean water to achieve the purpose of cleaning.
(2) Clean water cleaning process. Clean water cleaning is to use clean water or pure water for washing and rinsing. Compared with the saponified water cleaning process, clean water cleaning is mainly suitable for printed circuit components soldered with water-soluble flux.
