PCB design is a development link of product hardware design, which is an important research and development work connecting hardware circuit board schematic design and circuit board processing and manufacturing. Its project process is as follows:
1) At the beginning of the project, it is necessary to check whether all the data required by the project are complete: including schematic diagram, structure diagram, packaging library, signal flow diagram of complex products, power tree diagram, key signal description, power current, design requirements, etc.
2) Design information input: including the import of net list and structure diagram. After the structure drawing is imported, special attention should be paid to the size of screw holes and some positioning holes, the forbidden area of devices and wiring, the height limit area, and the location of connectors.
3) Layout: on the basis of comprehensively considering the requirements of signal quality, EMC, thermal design, DFM, DFT, structure, safety regulations, etc., the devices are reasonably placed on the board. The basic idea of layout is generally to combine the signal flow direction and power flow direction in addition to the structural restrictions.
4) Wiring constraints: wiring constraints are mainly divided into lineweight, spacing size, equal length, etc. Some rules need to be guided by pre simulation, such as line length, impedance, topology, cascade structure, etc.
5) Wiring: wiring is the largest part of PCB design workload, and there are many areas that need attention. Such as line impedance, continuity of reference surface, EMC, si/pi, DFM, etc.
6) Review + post simulation verification: after the wiring is completed, the review and inspection of senior personnel of the Department and the simulation of key signals and power supplies are required.
7) Processing: after PCB design is OK, you can output photo files for production.
