The first is the problem of panel. We know that the main problem of panel is to save the cost of production. The width of PCB panel ≤ 260mm ~ 300mm varies according to different production lines. Because we may have many materials, and one material gun of our processing equipment corresponds to one module, if the panel exceeds the scope of the module, the processing speed will become very slow.

The outer frame (clamping edge) of the PCB panel shall be carefully considered to ensure that the PCB panel will not deform after being fixed on the fixture (generally, V-slot is not allowed on this edge). For the layout of components, first, all orientations shall be consistent, and there shall be no mirror image, which will cause the problem of coordinate positioning of processing.

Second, there can be no connector protruding at the edge (between the outer frame of the panel and the inner panel, between the panel and the panel). If this situation exists, it will hinder the tool plate splitting after welding.

In order to ensure the position and level of the detection plate, we need to set more than three positioning points on the edge of the plate. Through optical detection of these three points, we can get the reference coordinates of the whole processing and the levelness of the plate.

The correct approach is that when the distance is 5mm from the edge and the travel direction is inconsistent, the spacing is different (it is convenient to distinguish the entry direction): [when setting the reference positioning point, generally leave an unobstructed welding area 1.5mm larger than the positioning point, and there can be no similar pad or other similar]

There shall be at least three positioning holes in each small plate, with 3 ≤ hole diameter ≤ 6 mm. Wiring or patch is not allowed within 1mm of the edge positioning hole (to prevent misjudgment). PCB assembly is mainly to save production and processing costs (which will make the machine processing speed several times faster). Unreasonable design will fill the later stage with problems.
