The physical parameters of PCB design are mainly determined by PCB designers. Mainly include: plate thickness aperture ratio, line width spacing, laminated design, pad aperture and other Settings. This requires a PCB designer must have a thorough understanding of PCB manufacturing process and manufacturing methods, understand most of the plate factory processing parameters, and combining with the actual situation of veneer for physical parameters setting, try to increase the PCB production process window, using the most sophisticated processing technology and parameter, reduce processing difficulty, improve yield and reduce the cost of PCB post-production and cycle, namely "do not kill the goose that use wheel" nor "kill cattle use chicken knife".

 

A lot of the details of PCB design depend on the level and experience of the design engineer. Such as: device placement position, spacing, wiring processing, copper processing. These parameters need to be accumulated over a long period of time. Generally speaking, professional design is exposed to more requirements of PCB board plants and welding plants, so generally their design parameters can meet the requirements of the vast majority of board plants, rather than only meet the specific cost requirements of a factory.
