The placement machine is one of the key equipments of the electronics industry. It has the characteristics of high speed, high precision, intelligence, and multi-function. The use of fully automatic placement technology can effectively improve production efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs. With the widespread application of SMT in products, the key equipment in SMT production, the placement machine, has also been developed accordingly, but during the use of the placement machine, some failures will inevitably occur. The following analyzes the problems that occur in the use of the placement machine and proposes corresponding treatment methods.
2 Handling of common equipment failures
2.1 The power of the placement machine is turned on but the green light in the three-color signal indicator is off.
(1) Check if the connector of the power indicator is connected.
(2) Check if the fuse of the logic board is good.
(3) Check whether the bulb is burned out.
2.2 The power is turned on but there is no video image. The processing method is as follows:
(1) Check whether the video cable is connected to the correct position of the video card.
(2) Check if the video cable is open or short with a multimeter
2.3 The machine cannot be home
(1) Check the HOME sensor in diagnostic mode
(2) Check the LIMIT switch in diagnostic mode
(3) Check whether the X and Y coordinates move correctly in the diagnostic mode
(4) Check if the motor I / O card is inserted correctly
(5) If X and Y coordinates move correctly, check X, Y LIMT
(6) Check if the tip sensor is “ON” when the Z axis is in the upper position
(7) Check if the mechanical head is stuck
