Before starting "burn", we need to test whether the PCB board is qualified and then choose the appropriate way to burn.
Offline burning: through the adapter and different packages of chip links, chip and adapter can be used together to achieve program burning. The nature of the adapter is similar to that of a precision fixture, where different packages of chips need to be fitted with different adaptors. If there is a mistake in the production test and the production backtrack is revised again, the chip needs to be removed from the adapter and burned again in accordance with the prescribed process, which consumes a large amount of manpower and material resources, costs a lot, and is prone to problems, so it is generally not recommended to burn offline.
Online burning: online burning USES the chip's standard communication bus, such as USB, SWD, JTAG, UART, etc., the interface is generally fixed, the need to connect the foot when burning is also very few. Because the interface communication rate is not high, the use of general wire can be completed, no high consumption. Online burning is through the wire connection to burn the program, if the production test found that there is an error, can be re-burning, no need to remove the chip. Not only save the production cost, but also increase the efficiency of burning. So now generally will use online burning.
